Local sports clubs team up to fill nearly 100 food donation bags

We would like to say a huge thank you to three fantastic local sports groups who recently joined forces to support local people facing hardship.

Members of Hook Harriers, the Hook Ladies Softball Cricket Team, and Hook & Newnham Basics Cricket Club came together at Tesco Hook to put together nearly 100 food donation bags.

Throughout the day, the volunteers encouraged Tesco customers to pick up a pre-packed bag near the store entrance, pay for it at the checkout, and drop it into the designated collection bin on their way out.

The event was a wonderful example of what can be achieved when local organisations work together for a common cause. The donated food will help replenish our stocks and provide essential support for individuals and families across Hart who are experiencing financial hardship.
