Have you ever thought about volunteering in your local community but wondered where to start?

Hart Foodbank and Hart Community Pantry are inviting local people to come along to our Volunteer Open Day on Saturday 10 October, where you can discover more about volunteering and the difference you could make.

The event will take place from 10 am to 4 pm at Unit 18a, Hart Shopping Centre.

Discover how you could get involved

Our Volunteer Open Day is a great opportunity to meet members of our team, chat to existing volunteers and find out more about the work that happens behind the scenes to support people across our local community.

There will be an opportunity to visit our Volunteers Gallery, explore the different roles available, and learn more about the many ways you can get involved.

Whether you have a few hours to spare each week, are looking to meet new people, want to learn new skills or simply want to give something back to your community, there could be a volunteering role that’s right for you.

More than just volunteering

Volunteers are at the heart of Hart Foodbank and Hart Community Pantry. From helping sort and organise donations to supporting our services and helping things run smoothly, every volunteer plays an important part.

Volunteering can also be a great way to meet people, gain experience, build confidence and become more connected with your local community.

So, if you’ve been thinking “I’d like to help, but I’m not sure how”, why not come along and have a chat?
