🌟 Volunteers wanted: Could you help support Hart Foodbank, our Community & Mobile Pantry?

Could you spare a few hours to help people in your local community?

At Hart Foodbank, our volunteers are at the heart of everything we do. From sorting and organising donations and preparing food parcels to supporting our services, volunteers make it possible for us to be there for local people when they need us most.

But there are even more opportunities to get involved.

We also need volunteers to help in the Community Pantry and Community Mobile Pantry – working to meet the needs of the most vulnerable in our community.

💚 Help make a difference

As a Pantry volunteer, you will meet pantry members and help them choose from a range of food offered by the Pantry, either at the Fleet Pantry ‘shop’ or at one of the Mobile Pantry locations.

It’s a great opportunity to meet people, offer a friendly welcome, and help make accessing good food a positive experience.

You don’t need previous foodbank or charity experience. What matters most is a willingness to help, a friendly approach and a commitment to supporting people in our community.

Our Community Mobile Pantry brings the same high-quality service already enjoyed at the static Pantry, but on wheels! ‘Harty’ carries a full selection of frozen, chilled, fresh and ambient goods, helping to meet a wide range of needs while also reducing food waste and supporting healthier lifestyles. We’re looking for friendly and enthusiastic volunteers to help when it visits local communities

And volunteering doesn’t have to take over your life. Even a few hours can make a difference. We understand that people have work, family, and other commitments, so we encourage anyone interested to get in touch and find out what opportunities are available.

Whether you’d like to volunteer at the Foodbank, the Fleet Community Pantry, or get involved with Harty as it takes the Pantry service on the road, we’d love to hear from you.
