As part of their ongoing help, luxury hotel Heckfield Place this week provided another food donation to Harty our Community Mobile Pantry, ensuring vital supplies reach individuals and families struggling with rising living costs.
Earlier this year, a partnership between Heckfield Place and Hart Foodbank was established with a generous commitment to support the foodbank’s operations. Now, that support has taken to the road-literally-with surplus and quality produce from Heckfield Place kitchens, making its way into the mobile pantry van serving local villages like Hook.
🍽️ Supporting Communities with Care
Donated items regularly packed by the hotel’s team are included in food packages distributed by the food bank and mobile pantry. These packages provide a variety of chilled, frozen, and cupboard essentials to those in need, many of whom are facing food insecurity due to inflation and stagnant wages.
🌿 A Sustainable Partnership
Heckfield Place, known for its sustainability ethos, aligns closely with our mission to offer healthy, locally sourced options. The hotel’s donation model represents an example of how businesses can play an active role in tackling food poverty.
As need increases across the district, it is partnerships like this-between hospitality and humanitarian effort-that show how local solutions can create national change.
“We are incredibly grateful to Heckfield Place for not only continuing their support but expanding it in a way that directly impacts people at ground level. These donations bring freshness, quality, and dignity to the food people receive.”
