Help us create 100 Christmas Dinner Hampers for local families

This year, we are preparing 100 Christmas Dinner Hampers for local households who visit our Community Pantry sites in Hook and Fleet. Our aim is simple: to ensure every family in our community can enjoy a festive meal and experience the joy of Christmas just like the rest of us.

These hampers will include a selection of essential ambient Christmas dinner items such as:
• Gravy granules
• Stuffing mix
• Tinned peas
• Cranberry sauce
• Bread sauce
• Yorkshire puddings
• Parsnips, potatoes, Brussels sprouts (ambient or pre-packed)
• Pigs in blankets and chicken (voucher or chilled/frozen provision depending on sourcing)

We’re also pleased to share that this project is a truly whole-community effort with the help of Morrisons Elvetham, Heath.  Morrisons have made up some bags and have put them on the usual display stand. They will be marked as Hart Foodbank Christmas Dinner Food.

Donating towards a hamper, you can be sure that someone-quite possibly a neighbour living close by, will enjoy a warm, dignified and festive Christmas meal. Every contribution helps, and together we can make Christmas brighter for 100 local families.

A special thank you also goes to Hart District Council, who have generously provided a grant towards the cost of the hamper boxes. Their support allows us to reach even more people at a time when help is needed most..
