Support is available for our local community with the recent launch of a CAP Debt Help Centre at Fleet Baptist Church.
Run by Christians Against Poverty (CAP), the centre offers free, confidential support for people facing financial difficulties. At a time when many households continue to feel the impact of rising living costs, this service provides practical help and a clear path forward.
CAP’s approach goes beyond immediate advice. Through face-to-face support, including home visits, the team works alongside individuals to manage debt, deal with creditors, and create realistic budgets. Alongside this, they offer money coaching and life skills sessions to help build long-term confidence and financial stability.
The centre also plays an important role in the wider community, working with local organisations to ensure people can access the right support at the right time.
This new service is a welcome addition to the support available in the area, offering hope and practical help to those who need it most.
