As we move further into spring, we continue to see the power of community in action – with recent weeks bringing together donations, partnerships, and practical support that are making a real difference.
Following our successful warehouse move, made possible by volunteers and generous donations (including vital equipment like dollies), we are now better equipped to manage stock and respond to ongoing demand efficiently.
We’ve also been incredibly grateful for the kindness shown by local supporters. From schools donating Easter eggs and food collections to local businesses stepping in with hands-on support and resources, every contribution helps us continue providing essential support to those who need it most.
Alongside this, new partnerships are strengthening the help available in our community. The launch of a local CAP Debt Help Centre is an important step in ensuring people can access free, expert advice and longer-term support – recognising that it takes more than food to address the challenges many are facing.
While spring brings hope, demand remains high as many households continue to face financial pressures. Behind every number is a real person -and every act of support helps us respond with care, dignity, and compassion.
We are incredibly thankful to everyone who continues to stand alongside us. Together, we are not only meeting immediate needs but building a stronger, more connected community for the future.
