More than food: support available through our Community Connector Team

At Hart Foodbank, we understand that needing help with food is often just one part of a bigger challenge. Many people coming through our doors are also facing issues such as rising living costs, debt, housing concerns, or difficulties accessing the support they’re entitled to.

That’s why our Community Connector Team is here – to offer more than just food support.

The team provides a friendly, confidential service, taking the time to listen and understand each person’s situation. From there, they help connect individuals to the right local services and expert support, whether that’s advice on benefits, help with managing money, housing support, or wellbeing services.

We know that navigating support systems can feel overwhelming, especially during difficult times. Our aim is to make that process easier – ensuring people don’t have to face challenges alone and can access the help they need as early as possible.

Available at our centres in Darby Green, Fleet, and Hook, the Community Connector Team is here to support people every step of the way.
