Warehouse move successfully completed thanks to community support

25th March 2026

This week, we successfully completed our warehouse move – a major milestone made possible by the incredible support of our volunteers and local community.

The move comes after a recent urgent appeal, when we needed to vacate our overflow warehouse and safely transport large volumes of food stock to a new location. Without the right equipment, this would have been a significant challenge, with thousands of items needing to be moved quickly and securely.

Thanks to the generosity of supporters – including the recent donation of 40 dollies – the move has been carried out smoothly and efficiently. These essential pieces of equipment have already made a huge difference, allowing volunteers to transport stock safely and with ease.

The relocation has been a true team effort, with volunteers working hard behind the scenes to ensure there was no disruption to the vital support provided to local people in crisis. Every box moved represents continued help for individuals and families who rely on the foodbank.

This move not only secures our storage needs for the future but also puts us in a stronger position to manage stock more effectively and continue meeting growing demand across the community.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this move through donations, practical help, and encouragement. Your support has made a lasting difference.
