As Easter approaches, we are prepared for a seasonal increase in demand, with more individuals and families needing support during what can be a particularly challenging time of year.
While Easter is often seen as a time of celebration, for many in our community, it can bring added financial pressure – from school holidays to the rising cost of food and essentials. As a result, the need for foodbank support often rises during this period.
Our team and volunteers have been working hard behind the scenes to ensure that everyone who needs help can access it, with additional efforts to provide seasonal items that can help make Easter a little brighter for local families.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community – including donations of Easter eggs, food items, and essential supplies – we are able to continue supporting people with dignity and care.
However, the need remains high, and ongoing support is vital to ensure we can meet demand not just at Easter, but beyond.
